my garland convection oven will not heat properly,...

my garland convection oven will not heat properly, how can I troubleshoot this problem? It will heat up very quickly, then pass the dial setting to over heat. Then it gives a F2 error code. Uneven cooking. It's all over the place with what it is doing.
