Question About GE Convection Oven None
GE Microwave Convection Oven Model JES1290ML01...

Hi There is a little piece of some kind of carbord on the right wall of the unit that covers 2 openings.Every time I use the unit it sparks wright there.

0 I have the same microwave and It didn't get used much at all. Located in my vacation home. My microwave done the same as others say on the right inner side of the microwave the cardboard foil type covering burn behind it. GE I have bought alot of appliances from you for my rentals and I would like to have my microwave replaced or repaired. I don't care which. GE email me at clubhotwv@aol.com

0 It's a $5.00 part.... costs more to ship it than the part costs, but it's simple to replace. I was told that cooking popcorn in a microwave is very hard on the microwave because of the lack of moisture.. we go thru mountains of microwaved popcorn so I am replacing the foil part for the second time. That's the only thing that has had to be repaired in the years I've had my oven and I still love it.
