Question About GE Dishwasher None
Cleaning out a GE Dishwasher GSD6200G00WW...

Hi, I am in the process of cleaning out my dishwasher. My model has a large SS screen which is called a coarse filter. I would like to remove this and clean underneath. It seems like I must first remove the filter sump. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks

0 I just did this on my GE PDW8200N00BB and it required removing the lower spray arm and all the parts below it. There is a small bearing (looks like a washer) that I almost lost down the drain. Pull up on the spray arm to remove, turn the fine filter nut to release tabs, disconnect water fill line, remove fine filter and then remove coarse filter.
