5 Dishwasher not pumping out the water? I fixed this problem at no cost on my GE QuietPower 3 Dishwasher simply by removing the bottom wash arm (lift & twist - and it pops out) then twist-remove the inner ring and lift out the plastic assembly - pop off the pipe to the upper wash arm (lift lock tab to remove pipe - push pipe off to the right & unplug) then lift off the drain screen and grab the plastic drain basket and pinch in the sides and pull up to remove it. Clean out the drain basket of debris - & reach down with your finger to clean the input screen to the drain pump. Then reassemble - the water will now drain out fine!

5 If your dishwasher is not pumping out the water - locate the filter basket in your unit and clean it out - something you should do every 6 months. The filter basket may be difficult to find - do a search on the parts listing with your unit serial number - the pictures in the parts list will help you find the drain basket.
