We have found that sometimes the water does not drain. Therefore, the dishes wash in dirty water and thus they end up with dried on grit. We have had repair out here 6 times and he has replace almost all parts including the pump to no avail. There is nothing wrong with the plumbing either, because we've had all that checked also. The GE warranty company has actually let me go 6 weeks without a dishwasher now!!!! Needless to say, if I purchase a new dishwasher, it will not be a GE.
