Question About GE Dishwasher GSC3500N
how do I remove the food trap to clean it?...

dishwasher is making loud noise and I fear something is in food trap and needs cleaning. My husband says he can't get it off and doesnt want to force it and break it.

0 Way to much water in the bottom of my dishwasher and I don't think there is an air gap. My dishwasher was in place before I moved into this house and it is securely under my kitchen cabinet. Is there any other way to check for clogs?? Or to release the water?? The garbage disposal has been checked and is clear and running properly.
