Im installing a GFC320V garbage disposal. The instruction manual tells me to slide the rubber gasket over the discharge elbow. This does not seem correct. In past installations I was instructed to put the rubber gasket in to the hole on the side of the disposal and then put the discharge elbow on. Any thoughts?
