Can I lift the top of GE range model J BP26 0D1AD to access electrical connection for burners? My 2 large burners no longer function. We bought replacement burners but the don't seem to be the issue. I believe where they plug in is the problem. I have never tried to lift the top off before, so I don't know if it simply doesn't lift or if it is just really stuck.
