Question About GE Range XL44
ge gas rang xl44...

I can not raise the top of the range to get at the burners. appears not to move is this correct or am I not trying hard enough to raise the cook top

0 to lift the top push two putty knife blades against the springs when you lift the top. The springs are hidden on the front side near the corners. Don't lift the lid too high because delicate parts are attached to it.
