My control panel lights went dark after replacing ...

My control panel lights went dark after replacing water filter on the freezer on the bottom refrigerator. It has an ice dispenser but no water dispenser, so we couldn't flush the water filter. It keeps beeping 3 times every few minutes. What's the solution?
