We recently got a GE Monogram Dishwasher from a friend of ours who was upgrading and knew our washer was broke beyond repair. I installed it the other night but am having a problem. The power is connected, the water and drain lines are properly hooked up. But the buttons are not doing anything when the door is closed. When the door is open the buttons light up and the light inside is working but when i close the door it seems to go dead. Any advice on what is broken, the machine or the operator?
