My GE ZIS 42D refrigerator-freezer is not defrosti...

My GE ZIS 42D refrigerator-freezer is not defrosting properly above the ice maker. A arepairman turned a whte plastic screw in compressor area and I don't know if he turned it back. Is it possibly related to my problem?
