my grundig um9140 has decided not to work.light flashes but mixing arm refuses to move.previous to this it used to switch itself on and off which was a bit freaky.can you help me with this mattef

0 Same thing happened to me, machine switched itself on for no reason, so I switched it off at the power socket hoping it didnt keep going, lol then after switching it back on at the plug socket the light started flashing but the beater wouldnt work on any speed setting.
