How long do the cycles wash for? We used our haier...

How long do the cycles wash for? We used our haier HDW100SST for the first time on normal cycle and it was still going after 30minutes. My wife then turned the unit off as she thought this was too long (she works in a restaraunt and says they should only wash for a few minutes). Jason.
