I received the Hamilton Beach Coffeemaker 48464 as a gift. I filled the tank with the desired amount of water, but before I could turn to pour it into the reservoir, I found that the water in the tank was leaking out of two holes in the bottom of the tank! I'm assuming that it's some sort of manufacturer defect? Is my only alternative to return the gift so that it can be replaced?
