Question About Hamilton Beach Food Processor 70570
the upper part of control spindle powers the upper...

the upper part of control spindle powers the upper blade to proper speed but lower part of control spindle does not power the lower blade when inserted. Obviously the spindle does not function properly so is it possible to replace that part? The spindle does not appear to have any screws to disengage it from the processor housing, Any suggestions?
