How do we set the clock on the counter top, Hamilt...

How do we set the clock on the counter top, Hamilton Beach, microwave oven. We have set the clock then when the microwave is used it does not show the clock time. Is there a "set" button or something that we need to push to lock the time in? Also when we set the clock the small "clock" word (on lower left of screen) stays on. Thank you.
