Question About Hotpoint Dishwasher HDA3640N
burning smell and brown ooz from rinse agent dispenser...

I have a Hotpoint HDA364ON20SA Dishwasher. We can not use the Hot Pre-wash Option, and we have to move the dial past Start and Water Saver, or there is a burning oder. I can live without the pre-wash but the ooz is gross. There is also a brown ooz coming out of the Rinse Agent Dispenser. We have tried running it with a dishwasher cleaner, then vinegar, then bleach, and still the ooz.
