The cycle time of my hotpoint ultima dishwasher DW...

The cycle time of my hotpoint ultima dishwasher DWF61 is very long Sometimes 3 hours! What is causing this ? Note -- the outer fine filter needs replacing?? Ian I.d.hague@googlemail.com
