Question About Hotpoint Microwave Oven RVM1435
microwave will not heat food...

even though all other functions work fine, will not heat food

0 I have a over the stove microwave and all of a sudden one night it came on by itself. I was in another room and didn`t know . I went to get ready for bed and when I went into the kitchen I smelled something hot. The microwave came on by itself and the out side door was hot. I shut it off but it came back on again. I had to unplug it. Next day I plugged it back in and it seemed ok but when going to bed or leaving the house we have to make sure we unplug it as we are afraid it will cause a fire.
