How can I get the coils off to replace the drip pa...

How can I get the coils off to replace the drip pans on a rb525gf model? I have a manual, I've tried what it says, but it's not completely coming off. It only says how to get the entire coil to come out so I can clean it. I need the coil to come unplugged in order to replace the drip pan, how do I do it?
