I have a 1970's hotpoint double oven electric range that came with the houst we bought 10 years ago. the upper oven quit. tried replacing the heat coil but that wasn't the problem. have been told the issue was in the on/off temp control thing. the lower burner and all burners are ok. really love this old vintage green machine and want to keep it. any ideas, help or suggestions appreciated. thank you.
