Question About Hotpoint Range RGB532BEA8WH
OVEN WON'T TURN OFF...

The oven stays lit and when I turned the gas off and unplugged it and turned it back on, the auto ignition flares up brightly and the gas goes back on and the oven lights itself and doesn't turn off.

0 After taking the oven knob off and monkeying with the switch I was able to get the oven turned off but NOW I can't put the knob back together. The spring part won't hook on to the control inside.
