Which uses less engergy/ electric? Daily A 60. ...

Which uses less engergy/ electric? Daily A 60. Or Eco wash. I was slightly confused as the Daily wash is 1 hour and the eco wash is over 2 hours. So why dose the eco wash take longer and supose to use less engergy?
