no cold air in fridge motor comes on .... door left open all night

0 This happened to ours. It was very frustrating. However after calling an engineer we were informed that ice can build up aropuynd the compressor, meaning the fridge will work, but freezer won't We had to unplug the fridge freezer for 3 days (!!!) and it melted. Lots of water so we must have had a lot of ice. Now it works again.
