I have a Hotpoint Fridge Freezer FFA47X. The alarm recently sounded and a message said that the food needed to be consumed immediately. The freezer had stopped working. Several alarm resets attempted but the same message and alarm came back after 10 minutes or so. After 48 hours howeve, this stopped and the freezer now appears to be working! Nothing in the manual as to auto defrost etc or troubleshooting guide. Is this normal or am I now looking for a net FF?
