ice maker...

hotpoint fridge/freezer with ice model HSS25GFPJWW. makes ice and water fine but does not dispense ice and light on ice maker goes dim. There is no noise when pushing the lever for ice. model HSS25GFPJWW. possible board malfunction? if so, how to get at it?
