my ice maker will not drop the ice to make new ice...

my ice maker will not drop the ice to make new ice, I turned the ice maker off for a day & then turned in it back on but the on/off switch just blinks. please help Ron

0 I pulled the ice maker out & 2 of the top flaps were stuck, so the ice wouldn't flip out. I pulled the flaps back on top & ice maker is working again. NO SERVICE GUY NEEDED!!!
