1 I cut the wires going to the led light sensors. The wires coming from the motherboard I twisted together, and put heat shrink tubing on them. This tricked the machine . Now instead of looking for a light to tell me its full of ice I look in to the window on the door. I'm no expert but will not pay for something I can fix myself

1 The red and black wires are the ones to cut and splice together. Just fixed my machine by doing this.

0 there are two led type looking bulbs that are at the side of the cabinet left and right side top right near the top where the lid closes. Somes these get clouded up from water scale and have to be cleaned. this will fix in most cases the full sensor problem. check these to make sure they are clean and clear.

0 Steven, if I'm not mistaken it now will make ice indefinitely or until it runs out of water, correct?

0 Cutting the red and black wires was the trick.  I had been looking for a fix for a month.. to get to the wires on the side opposite the fan...unscrew the back panel.

0 Don't forget to splice them and tape them.
