I have misplaced my instruction manual and need to...

I have misplaced my instruction manual and need to know how long the koolmate 36 can be left on warm or cool when left plugged into a car lighter or regular outlet. I remember the time was different and something about having to unplug the device if on warm. This if particularly important for going on a camping trip.
