I have a Heavy duty freezer model #VL2494ECW1 and while I was defrosting the freezer started to beep. I turn of the beeping off by switching it to the off setting. When I switch it back to on the freezer continues to beep. Do I leave it off and the freezer will continue to work on it on? Thanks
