Question About Indesit Dishwasher IDL 530
INDESIT IDL530 door won't close??...

We can't get the indesit IDL 530 door to close on the dishwasher?? There seems to be a problem with the door locking into place with the main body of the dishwasher?? I don't know what the internal (visible) parts of the locking mechanism should look like to ensure nothing has broken?? Any suggestions...??

2 It's probably the spring on the lock mechanism has gone and this in effects blocks the door from closing. You can get a new lock from espares.co.uk (part#: C00195887) for about £7.99. To replace it you have to take off the front door panel - involves undoing about 15 screws and undo the screws holding on the lock and switch over the electrical contacts - about 15 minutes. Disconnect the machine from the mains first!
