I have recently aquired an Indisit BA 35 P Fridge ...

I have recently aquired an Indisit BA 35 P Fridge Freezer combination unit, the light indicators for both compartments and the power on/off indicator have constantly flashed on and off since plugging in and switching on. Is this "normall" or is there a way to stop them from flashing.
