5 I had the same problem, when looking for an answer nothing really for ADL 334, but same symptoms for Ariston. Probably same machine different name. Anyway problem solved by pulling out machine and tipping sideways. Water will should come out. It should then work. Flashing light is caused by internal float switch being triggered by bottom of machine being flooded. Designed to stop flooding of kitchen.
