My unit is about 8 years old and has started leaking and has gotten the floor of the cabinet wet. The top of the unit has some mineral deposits. I noticed this when investigating why the dispenser started to take up to 10 seconds to start dispensing hot water when the lever was turned. First of all is the delay in dispensing water a sign that the unit is worn out? Can parts be replaced on these dispensers? Is the leaking a separate problem? To stop the leaking do I merely need to use better clamps? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

0 The tank is not serviceable but newer model tanks have compatible connections. But they are not cheap.
