We just had a JENN-AIR cooktop JEC0530 installed. It maes 2 fairly loud noises: a repetitive growl-growl-growl and an in-sync humm-humm-humm. The cycle is about every 2 seconds. Is there a fan? Bearings? The picture doesn't look as if it has a fan. The noise is simply not acceptible. Is it a fault in the unit? Might it have something to do with our having planned to have a Jenn-Air down-draft, but opted out because it would not work in the setting.? Thank you. Jock McClellan

0 The diagram DOES show that there is a small fan. This may be the source of the noises. They vary. SOmetimes the hum is constant with the rattle (rzm-rzm) going about once or twice a second. Jock McClellan
