JMV8196AAS Overheated - Wife put a damp dish cloth...

JMV8196AAS Overheated - Wife put a damp dish cloth in the MW to clean it and then turned the MW on. Instead of 2 mins she selected 20 mins. Is there a thermal relay and will it self reset.
