My oven's probe signal comes on all by itself, eve...

My oven's probe signal comes on all by itself, even if the oven hasn't been used. Only way I can shut it off is to open the oven door and slam it shut. Using the touch pad to cancel the probe turns it off for about 5 seconds, then it starts beeping again. Has awakened me at 2 AM. HELP
