How to remove light shield on Jenn Air JCD2389GEQ....

How to remove light shield on Jenn Air JCD2389GEQ. One instruction indicated to pull down in back and pull forward, but the 2 catches in the back are not releasing. This should be easy, but I'll break things if I pull any harder.
