I have a JCD2389GES .. I have just changed the water filter but the warning light is still on. I cannot find the manual as we inherited this appliance with the house. I have discharged 3 galIons of water as required. Please advise.

0 Touch any button beside the user control panel on the refrigerator door to activate it. Select options. Select more options. Select more options again. Select replace H2O Filter. Select yes. It will say "please wait, resetting filter". Select done. You're done. In a few seconds the menu panel light will return to off.
