The water line to the freezer broke and flooded the freezer compartment. We turned off the water supply to the refrigerator, but now it sounds like there is a motor that is continually running. The sound quiets down when the refrigerator door is opened. What could cause this sound? How do we get it to stop? And will the continual running of this motor damage anything?
