Question About Jenn-Air Refrigerator None
water leaking on floor...

My refrig is periodically discharging water onto the floor under the freezer side. I've turned off the water to the unit but its still doing it every 2 or 3 days or so. Please help

5 Seems to be a common problem. The drain tube below the tubes is plugged or frozen. Shut off treezer and empty the contents. Remove the baskets and shelves. Remove the two screws that hold the back lower panel in place. Use a hair dryer, not a heat gun, to thaw the ice so you can remove the panel. This took about 10 minutes on mine. The frozen foam seal behind the panel was stuck also. The plugged drain tube is located at the bottom of the aluminum collection pan. First I used hot water to clear the tube, then compressed air. This took care of the problem.

2 re the jenn-air model jcd2389ges, the water is running down the back wall of the freezer compartment from the top area and freezing at the bottom before periodically running out onto the floor
