0 Hi. We had a similar problem. When we got home from holiday last Saturday we found the alarm flashing and the temperature -11. We assumed that the door had been left open at some point and was not closing properly. We found a lot of ice below and behind the bottom basket, but despite clearing this out we could not get the freezer to the correct temperature. Despite use of the fast-freeze button over the next few days we found the temperature varying between -12 and -15 but not the -20 that we have ours set for. Finally yesterday I emptied the freezer, taking out all the baskets and giving it a really thorough defrost, including spending over an hour using my wife's hairdryer to direct hot air up the slot inside the freezer but at the back of the food compartment. When water finally stopped coming out at the bottom I switched the freezer back on. It took a few hours but by bedtime and again this morning the temperature is a steady -20. Good luck
