My oven has tripped the house electrics and shows fault code c43. What does this mean?

0 Hi, this is most likely an oven element blowing and shorting to earth. C43 code probably just means a power interruption though I cannot find it online. Isolate the oven electrically, remove door and then oven (4 screws) and then remove the back panel (2 screws at the top). Locate the bayonet connectors of the 3 elements (grill, fan, bottom) and remove the connectors from one of them, start with the fan element in the middle. Insulate the connectors on the wires and tuck away from metal oven. Test oven. If fault still found, isolate the supply and try the next element and so on until you find the failed element. Then replace. Good luck. Be safe. Remember, always isolate the power supply while working on the oven!
