I have a kenmore elite model #790.46702600. I am trying to lock the cook top. I tried pushing and holding the button above where it says "cooktop lockout" and a red padlock shows up but the buttons can still be pushed and operate the cook top. I have a kitten that is getting on there and turning things on!!!
