We have a side-by-side Kenmore frig/freezer and having difficulty with ice-dispenser. We prefer the cubes so we keep the button on 'cube'. But the dispenser grinds and make loud noises and mostly chipped ice comes out. Just makes these horrible grinding sounds and spits out chunks of chipped ice. Sometimes I will then open freezer to check dispenser and a pile of chipped ice will fall out. Note that 'air balance' is exactly in the middle and the thermostat is on just below number four. Thx!
