Question About Kenmore Microwave Oven 99911
I have a 1981 Sears best Kenmore microwave oven so...

I have a 1981 Sears best Kenmore microwave oven some how my microwave got switched from cook to timer the power level is on high but it wont heat anything up. I don't know how to switch it back to cook my phone number is 812 216 9348 if you have any information

0 I have the same model since it came out and it just recently did the very same thing (10/27/2013). Actually, I considered myself very fortunate considering it's age (32 years!) No appliance is supposed to last that long, much less a microwave. More likely than not magnetron tube has failed and considering the extreme age of this microwave it's just not worth the expense to have it repaired/replaced. Just go out and purchase a new microwave as I did, and consider yourself very lucky for it having lasted as long as it did!
