There is no push button to remove the water filter...

There is no push button to remove the water filter from my model 51572200 side by side refrigerator. How do I remove it to replace it.

0 4-5 days ago the freezer quite working. I adjusted the thermostat switch and it came back on, I did this every day and thought it was the switch and ordered one. Today nothing works except the inside lights. Can't hear the compressor nor the fan. Any thoughts where my problem is?
