I have a 36" KitchenAid cooktop (KICU568SBL) that is 3 months old. The 2 burners on the left side of the cooktop no longer work. When a pan is placed on top of the non-working burner, pressing the Select button for the unit and it continues to make the clicking noise and flashes the selected temperature. but does not get hot. The clicking and flashing temp continue until turned off.
