Question About KitchenAid Dishwasher None
soap dispemser coil failed...

The detergent dispenser did not open. The clip was broken so I I changed the assembly. The original coil that activates the soap had swelled with some white stuff and melted the plastic cover flap. The replacement worked fine then a few days later it also stopped working. I removed it and saw that the coil had also swelled. with some white stuff. What could be causing this problem?

0 How did you separate the outer door panel from the inner door panel to replace the dispenser assembly? I also need to replace the dispenser assembly, but after I remove all the torx screws joining the inner and outer door panels my dispenser is sandwiched between them] I cannot get the inner and outer door panels to separate. Thanks for your input.
